This Privacy Policy explains how Beekon LLC (“Beekon,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you use gobeekon.com (the “Site”). Beekon is a directory of local service businesses. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
Information you give us. If you contact us or submit the claim form on our For Businesses page, we collect what you enter, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number and message.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It collects pages viewed, links clicked (for example, when a visitor taps Call Now or View Details), device and browser information, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifiers.
Call information. When you tap Call Now, your phone dials the business directly. If we introduce call tracking, calls placed through tracked numbers may be routed through a third-party call tracking provider, which may record the caller’s phone number, the time and length of the call and, where disclosed on the call, a recording. The business you call receives your call and may see your phone number, as with any phone call.
Business listing information. Our directory lists businesses using information from public sources, such as business names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, and public ratings and reviews. This information describes businesses, but for a sole proprietor it may also be personal information. Owners can ask us to correct or remove a listing (see “Your choices” below).
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers. We share information with service providers that help us run the Site: Webflow (hosting and forms), Airtable and workflow automation tools (storing and processing form submissions and listing data), Google (analytics) and, once live, our call tracking provider. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or merger of the business.
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, mainly from Google Analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We keep form submissions and analytics data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to correct or remove a business listing, by emailing hello@gobeekon.com. Residents of some states, including California, have additional rights under state law, and we will honor valid requests.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We may update this policy from time to time and will change the date above when we do.
